- Addressing employee questions and payroll-related issues
- Keeping current on payroll laws and regulations
- Working with HR and finance to ensure accurate payroll data
- Reconciling the general ledger for payroll transactions
Requirements
- 2-6 years Payroll specialist related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with other financial systems
