The Payroll Specialist position at Val Verde Unified School District is a critical role responsible for managing and processing payroll for the district's employees. Responsibilities

  • Manage and process payroll for all district employees.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent; two (2) years college level training with a major in accounting, business or public administration, finance or a closely related field is desirable.
  • Four (4) years of responsible and technical experience in payroll for a school district or governmental agency.
  • Two (2) years of experience may be substituted with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, finance, or a closely related field.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Resumé desirable.
