About the position

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and payroll-related transactions for approximately 1,100 US employees. This contract position requires expertise in multi-state payroll and a strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for 1,100 employees.
• Maintain payroll records and databases.
• Handle payroll functions such as new hires, terminations, LOAs, Masterfile changes, stock transactions, relocations, garnishments, and employment verifications.
• Provide excellent customer service by resolving payroll-related issues and responding to inquiries promptly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, including tax withholding, garnishments, and overtime pay.
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in ADP Global View and eTime Time & Labor systems.
