About the position

The Payroll Specialist/Customer Service Representative at Bayview Payroll Services is responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by addressing their payroll-related inquiries and concerns. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with prior payroll experience to assist clients in processing payroll, running reports, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The position emphasizes effective communication and customer service skills, making it essential for maintaining client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and messages to provide support to our clients.
• Assist clients in processing payroll for their company, running payroll reports, quarterly tax filings, etc.
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and empathetic manner.
• Utilize computerized systems to efficiently manage customer interactions and record relevant information.
• Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
• Make outbound calls to customers to follow up on issues, provide updates, and resolve any ongoing problems.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to office safety and security standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management through verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and maintain a positive and professional tone in all interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree or above preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in data entry and computerized systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (bi-lingual in Spanish highly preferred).
• Experience in payroll processes is highly desirable.
