About the position

The Payroll Specialist/G/L Expert role at AccuPay involves processing payroll for a diverse range of clients, from small S corporations to larger companies. The position requires continual learning about payroll, taxes, and HRIS systems, with a focus on providing exceptional service and support to clients. Payroll specialists will be responsible for integrating payroll with 401k plans, general ledgers, and benefits enrollment, while also serving as the main point of contact for client inquiries. The role offers a hybrid work schedule after an initial training period in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for a diverse range of clients using HRIS systems (Isolved HCM and Kronos).
  • Integrate clients' payroll with their 401k plans and general ledgers.
  • Provide exceptional service and support to clients, answering their inquiries.
  • Build reports and map payroll to client general ledgers.
  • Collaborate with a team of payroll specialists to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

  • Valid Certified Payroll Professional certification (preferred).
  • Experience in QuickBooks (preferred).
  • Associate's degree (preferred).
  • 3 years of payroll experience (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll integrations.
  • Aptitude for technology and willingness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented and strong work ethic.
