About the position

As a Payroll Specialist at Robert Half, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll services for our esteemed client in the healthcare industry. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate processing and recording of payroll for all employees. This includes calculating hours worked, paid time off, benefits, taxes, and other deductions, while adhering to federal, state, and local laws. You will also be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information and participating in daily data entry of payroll processing activities. In this role, you will handle employee inquiries and troubleshoot any issues related to payroll, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and on time. You will coordinate with the HR department to implement any changes that may affect payroll, and you will prepare relevant reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis. Your attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude will be essential in maintaining the integrity of payroll data and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities

  • Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate calculations for hours worked, paid time off, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, HR or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency with payroll software along with strong MS Office skills.
  • Detailed understanding of payroll and tax procedures.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
