About the position

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing payroll for employees in a home care consulting environment. This role ensures accuracy and timeliness in payroll management, prepares payroll reports, maintains employee records, and collaborates with HR for onboarding and offboarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or discrepancies
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and other required reports
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems (e.g., Kronos, Workday)
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and proper onboarding/offboarding procedures
• Provide support for payroll-related inquiries from employees

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in payroll management
• Proficient in data entry
• Experience with payroll systems, specifically Workday
