About the position

The Payroll & Administrative Support Specialist at Four Sisters Inns is responsible for coordinating and processing payroll for approximately 300 employees across 22 locations. This role ensures compliance with federal and California wage regulations, manages benefits administration, and supports overall office operations to maintain a professional environment. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to respond to administrative support requests from senior management and hotel managers.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll via OnePoint for approximately 300 employees every other week.
  • Audit and reconcile payroll data, reports, and journals into the accounting system.
  • Facilitate preparation of manual checks and ensure accuracy of payroll information.
  • Track and maintain PTO and sick leave benefits.
  • Assist with recruiting, including vetting and scheduling interviews.
  • Onboard new hires and verify completeness of documentation.
  • Establish and maintain physical and electronic employment records.
  • Prepare and submit required federal and state reports, including OSHA and EEOC reports.
  • Administer employee health insurance and 401k benefit programs.
  • Serve as lead on phone systems and greet visitors professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or Accounting.
  • 1 year of experience in benefits administration and customer service.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google products.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply concepts to practical situations.

  • Previous hotel/motel experience.
