About the position

As a Payroll Specialist II at ConnectPay LLC, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes across multiple states. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. You will be responsible for reviewing and processing payroll, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Your role will also involve maintaining and updating our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, which is essential for tracking client interactions and payroll data. In addition to payroll processing, you will initiate ongoing client enrollment, education, and onboarding, which are vital for maintaining strong client relationships. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling inbound calls with a friendly and professional demeanor. Confidentiality is paramount in this role, as you will be dealing with sensitive information. You will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the payroll department. To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in various settings. A client service orientation is essential, as you will be interacting with clients regularly. You should be able to prioritize tasks by analyzing critical issues and drawing accurate conclusions, all while maintaining a sense of professionalism and urgency. Operating a 10-key with speed and accuracy is also a key requirement, along with a foundational knowledge of bookkeeping or payroll functions.
