This position is integral to the payroll department, responsible for assisting with the review, audit, and processing of payroll for over 3000 multi-state employees using the ADP/Workday system. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can execute payroll on a biweekly basis, ensuring that all processes are completed accurately and on time. The Payroll Specialist will prepare time and attendance for processing, make necessary adjustments, and interpret and set up garnishment orders and child support deductions. This position also involves reviewing all payroll reporting to ensure accurate and timely filing, as well as processing new hires, status changes, and tax updates. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Payroll Specialist will complete pre/post payroll audits and reporting, prepare metrics, and track errors to maintain the integrity of payroll data. The role requires troubleshooting technical issues with payroll and timekeeping systems, maintaining the payroll inbox, and providing backup for manual check processing. The Payroll Specialist will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll department.
