About the position

As a Payroll Specialist at Intershop Communications AG, you will play a crucial role in the independent preparation, implementation, and follow-up of the monthly payroll accounting using DATEV LODAS. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and managing personnel master data and time management data, as well as posting travel expense reports. You will serve as the primary contact for employees regarding salary, tax, and social security issues, ensuring that all inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively. In addition to payroll processing, you will carry out the registration, reporting, and certification processes, managing correspondence with health insurance funds, social security institutions, and relevant authorities. You will also prepare payroll data for various analyses, manage and process the company pension scheme, and support the annual financial statements. Your role will involve preparing and supporting payroll tax and social security audits, as well as contributing to the further development and optimization of billing processes. Responsibilities

  • Prepare, implement, and follow up on monthly payroll accounting using DATEV LODAS.
  • Maintain and manage personnel master data and time management data.
  • Post travel expense reports.
  • Act as the contact person for employees regarding salary, tax, and social security issues.
  • Carry out registration, reporting, and certification processes, managing correspondence with health insurance funds and social security institutions.
  • Prepare payroll data for various analyses.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in payroll accounting.
  • Profound knowledge of tax and social security law.
  • Very good knowledge of DATEV LODAS, SAP FI, and MS Office.
  • Experience working with Personio is a plus.
  • Good communication skills with a friendly and confident manner.
  • Independent, reliable, structured, and precise work style.
  • High degree of initiative and commitment.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
