About the position

As a Payroll Specialist at Blattner Company, you will play a crucial role in accurately processing weekly, multi-state payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various departments to maintain payroll databases, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of employee data. You will coordinate work processes that require a thorough understanding of payroll and human resource information systems, accounting functions, and payroll processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining employee data in payroll databases, which is essential for the smooth operation of payroll functions. To excel in this position, you will need to have a solid educational background, ideally with an Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, particularly with exposure to tax laws, unions, and payroll regulations for multi-state and multi-company payroll. Your expertise in these areas will be vital in ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll processing. Requirements
