Responsibilities

  • Run payroll reports and correct errors
  • Calculate gross pay, taxes, and state-paid benefits
  • Process wage garnishments, levies, notice letter, interrogatories, and holds
  • Process national medical support notices
  • Provide customer service to state employees and others.

Requirements

  • Experience using payroll systems
  • An understanding of and experience in payroll laws and processes
  • Experience in in-bound and out-bound customer service
  • Good Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines

Nice-to-haves

  • Bi-lingual preferred
