About the position

Trust Point is looking for a Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the payroll process on behalf of our clients. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of payroll from beginning to end, as well as the ability to perform all related payroll functions. The Payroll Specialist will assist with general compliance initiatives for local, state, and federal regulations concerning all HR practices. Additionally, the role involves generating necessary reports and ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and timely. Previous payroll processing experience is required, and familiarity with UKG (formerly Kronos) software is considered a plus. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and thrive in a dynamic work environment. The Payroll Specialist will also need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to collect, organize, and analyze information to drive improvements in product reporting. Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a keen attention to detail, are essential for managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. The ability to anticipate, communicate, and resolve issues with minimal guidance is crucial, as is the capacity to work collaboratively and take direction to develop effective and engaging programs. This position is full-time, requiring a commitment to work Monday through Friday in person at our Exton, PA location.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all aspects of the payroll process for clients.
  • Assist with compliance initiatives for local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Generate payroll reports as necessary.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile and file payroll tax returns.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with US Payroll.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience reconciling and filing payroll tax returns.
  • Experience with UKG (Kronos Work Force Ready) software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
