Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Analyze payroll data to identify trends, errors, or areas for improvement in the payroll process.
• Maintain records of employee hours worked, deductions, and other relevant payroll information through precise data entry.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to payroll metrics and compliance audits.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure employee data is up-to-date and accurately reflected in the payroll system.
• Support employees with inquiries related to their paychecks or payroll processes.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Accounting or Finances.
• 3 to 5 years of payroll experience required.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in financial software applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of account reconciliation principles and practices.
• Ability to analyze financial data effectively to support decision-making processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with employees across various departments.
