About the position

The Payroll Specialist at Three Bears Alaska plays a crucial role in managing weekly payroll processing for over 1000 employees. This position requires a self-starting individual who can work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment. The specialist will also support the human resources department with various employee relations functions as needed, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and manage weekly payroll processing for 1000+ employees.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy in payroll data.
  • Support the human resources department with employee relation functions as assigned.
  • Collaborate with Store Management, HR/Payroll personnel, and the Corporate Team to complete payroll tasks.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Payroll or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in payroll and handling confidential information is required.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Human Resources is preferred.
