The ideal candidate will possess full-cycle payroll experience, particularly in a high-volume, multi-state environment. The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee payroll records, and managing relationships with payroll vendors. This position is essential for the smooth operation of payroll functions within the organization, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll department.

Responsibilities

  • Process full-cycle payroll
  • Maintain employee payroll records
  • Handle multi-state payroll processing
  • Maintain relationships with payroll vendors
  • Download and submit regular payroll reports to management
  • Ensure all time sheets are submitted accurately and on time
  • Maintain monthly payroll tax reports
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of payroll experience in a complex processing environment
  • Prior experience with various withholdings, garnishments, and processing liens
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing
  • Familiarity with UKG Pro software
