About the position

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll on a weekly basis for LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions, ensuring accurate and timely payroll transactions for over 1500 employees. This role involves daily communication with corporate staff and various client locations, providing customer service and resolving payroll-related inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily payroll department operations
• Consistently and accurately process payroll for up to 1500+ employees
• Collect timecards from employees at multiple locations
• Save all timecards on the shared drive for reference
• Solve issues and answer questions related to payroll
• Complete all employment verification and unemployment claim requests on time
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
• Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
• Organize and maintain all record keeping including scanning of all data and proper filing within department files
• Provide customer service to all employees, outside customers, and vendors

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• 2-5 years in a payroll related position
• Previous experience in an office setting preferred
• ADP Experience is a plus
• Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
