About the position

Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half is inviting applications for a Payroll Specialist role based in Eagle, Idaho, United States. The successful candidate will be joining a team and industry where they will process bi-weekly payroll, validate payroll earnings and deductions, and handle employee payroll records. This role also involves resolving payroll discrepancies and participating in problem-solving initiatives within the payroll department. The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and on time, contributing to the overall efficiency of the payroll department. The position requires a strong understanding of payroll processes and systems, as well as the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for responding to employee inquiries and resolving discrepancies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process bi-weekly payroll across multiple locations including skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
• Verify the accuracy of employee time and attendance records.
• Validate and process bonus payments, insurance premiums, and other payroll earnings and deductions.
• Maintain and manage employee payroll records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Respond to and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Paylocity
• Experience in processing bi-weekly payroll
• Comprehensive understanding of payroll processes and systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work under strict deadlines.
