The Payroll Specialist processes multi-state payroll for 500 or more employees (hourly and salaried employees). Your primary responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining employee records, ensuring that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis, reviewing changes for proper authorization, and complying with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also process new hire paperwork, address changes, and garnishments, and handle employee relations as it relates to payroll and benefits. Additionally, auditing payroll for accuracy and compliance is a critical part of your role.
