The Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our agency runs smoothly by processing payroll for our dedicated staff who serve those in need. This position is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of our organization and ensuring that our employees are compensated accurately and on time. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll for a large, multi-faceted human services agency, which includes handling new hires, terminations, and wage changes. You will ensure data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies before bi-weekly processing, maintaining meticulous payroll records for all employees. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with program staff to keep communication open regarding payroll matters. You will also support department management by maintaining data for payroll-related administrative requirements. Additionally, you will work with the Accounting and Analysis departments to ensure accurate posting of payroll transactions. Partnering with HR and IT for UKG system management and updates will also be part of your responsibilities.
