About the position

Payroll/HCM Specialists are responsible for preparing client payrolls in accordance with wage and tax guidelines, processing garnishments, generating payroll documents, and tax reports for clients in the isolved HCM platform. This includes processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for clients as well as after-the-fact payrolls. The role also involves generating quarterly and year-end payroll reports including W2s and updating employee payroll information and adjustments per client requests. The position requires a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, as well as effective communication skills to interact with clients via phone, email, and in person. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a related payroll-processing role and knowledge of payroll law and regulations. Familiarity with the isolved payroll system and experience with payroll implementations are highly desired but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process client payrolls according to wage and tax guidelines.
  • Process garnishments and generate payroll documents for clients.
  • Generate quarterly and year-end payroll reports, including W2s.
  • Update employee payroll information and adjustments as per client requests.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients via phone, email, and in person.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working daily on the computer, including payroll software and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience in a related payroll-processing role is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of payroll law and regulations is highly desired.
  • Experience working in the isolved payroll system is highly desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with payroll implementations is desired but not required.
