Our client, located in Salem, NH, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for candidates who have a solid background in payroll processing and are looking for a flexible work schedule. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing using Paychex software on a bi-weekly basis. This role requires a keen eye for detail, as the specialist will need to review and validate payroll cards for accuracy and audit any discrepancies that may arise. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will ensure compliance with all state and federal payroll and tax regulations, which is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the payroll system. In this role, the Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for entering and maintaining employee information in the HR/Payroll database for new hires. This includes updating records and ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date. The position offers a pay range of $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience, and requires approximately 20 hours of work per week, with flexibility in scheduling. This is a temporary-to-hire position, providing an opportunity for the right candidate to transition into a permanent role after demonstrating their skills and fit within the company culture.
