The position may also involve performing other job-related duties as assigned or as they become apparent, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume customer service environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to work under strict deadlines. With a minimum of one year of payroll experience and intermediate-level skills in MS Excel, the Payroll Specialist will be well-equipped to handle the demands of this fast-paced role. Experience with Workday is preferred, as it will enhance the candidate's ability to navigate payroll systems and processes efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers a high level of customer service and professionalism when responding to payroll inquiries from internal customers.
  • Responds timely to payroll questions providing a first call resolution.

  • Analyzes details of requests provided by internal customers to determine the cause of the issue.

Requirements

  • Experience with high volume customer service environments.
  • Minimum 1 year Payroll Experience.
  • Intermediate level of MS Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
