About the position

EHS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes for up to 7 locations, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee wages while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing hospitality-related payrolls and familiarity with payroll systems such as PayChex, ADP, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, or Ceridian.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked and deductions.
• Maintain employee records in payroll systems, including ADP, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, or Ceridian.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources department to manage employee benefits and deductions.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies and provide resolution in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist with audits related to payroll processes as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience working closely with Human Resources is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
• 1 year of payroll experience is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PayChex or similar payroll systems is preferred.
