About the position

The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and employee satisfaction at The Highlands at Wyomissing, a long-term care community. This position involves managing payroll operations, generating reports, and assisting with HR functions related to employee benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll
  • Generating a variety of payroll reports
  • Identifying payroll discrepancies to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Maintaining employee files and gathering information for audit and reporting purposes
  • Assisting with other HR functions such as benefits enrollment and changes

Requirements

  • Previous payroll processing experience
  • Proficiency using payroll systems (UltiPro a plus)
  • Experience handling sensitive information
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous payroll experience for a healthcare facility
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
