About the position

The Payroll Specialist at Cytiva is responsible for processing payroll for over 6000 employees, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement in compliance with federal and state laws. This fully remote position is part of the HR Operations Payroll department and plays a crucial role in maintaining employee data, managing reporting, and supporting audits for compliance. Responsibilities

  • Bi-weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes.
  • Ensure accurate system maintenance including employee master data, wages, benefits, and PTO in line with contracts.
  • Management reporting, including monthly results, quarterly and year-end reports.
  • Coordinate compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits for compliance and SOX requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience processing multi-state payroll or equivalent payroll system experience.
  • Experience with time recordkeeping and payroll processing software.
  • Ability to process payroll end to end.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and engage with team members and managers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ADP (EV6) and e-Time solutions.
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-national payroll system.
  • Ability to assist in reconciliation, general ledger, or journal entry inquiries.
