About the position

As a Payroll Specialist at Randstad, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing for our clients. This temporary position is based in Fremont, CA, and offers a competitive hourly wage of $30 to $35. Your primary responsibilities will include checking timesheets for accuracy, entering data into databases and spreadsheets, and handling direct deposit requests. You will also be responsible for processing paper checks for distribution, acquiring necessary signatures for payroll distribution, and processing wage garnishments. Additionally, you will make adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses, and commissions, ensuring that all payroll-related tasks are completed accurately and on time. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in payroll processing, with at least two years of experience in multi-state payroll, W-2 end-of-year processing, and payroll reconciliation. Familiarity with ADP systems is also required. You will be expected to handle unemployment claims and 1099 processing, as well as benefit administration. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive payroll information.   • 1 year of experience in Benefit Administration
  • 2 years of experience in Payroll Reconciliation
  • 2 years of experience using ADP systems
