• Conduct account reconciliation to verify payroll data against financial records.
• Utilize UltiPro or similar HRIS systems for payroll processing and reporting.
• Manage benefits administration, including deductions and contributions related to employee benefits.
• Ensure double entry bookkeeping practices are followed for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial statements.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies or concerns in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements affecting payroll processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll procedures and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems such as UltiPro is preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.
• Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and general ledger maintenance.
• Knowledge of benefits administration practices is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees and management professionally.
