About the position

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll for multiple companies within a large organization that employs over 10,000 individuals. This role requires handling payroll for 1100-1500 employees bi-weekly, utilizing ADP Payforce, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple companies bi-weekly.
• Utilize ADP Payforce for payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries from employees.
• Perform basic to moderate math calculations as needed.
• Conduct detailed analysis of payroll data.

Requirements

• 2+ years of payroll experience with 300+ employees.
• Experience with ADP Payforce is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic Excel knowledge, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Knowledge of computerized payroll systems.
• Understanding of payroll regulations such as federal and state wage and hour laws, and tax laws.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to research, analyze, and resolve payroll-related issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Oracle Time and Labor.
• Experience with ADP Reporting and Pay@work.
