About the position

The Payroll Specialist at Stillwater Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Community is responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and assisting with employee onboarding. This role requires proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel, along with a solid understanding of health insurance enrollment and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll.
• Assist with the onboarding of new hires.
• Conduct BCI checks for new employees.
• Manage health insurance enrollment for employees.
• Familiarize with the facility/company employee handbook.

Requirements

• Experience with payroll systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Payroll Based Journal (PBJ).
