About the position

Payroll/HCM Specialists are responsible for preparing client payrolls in accordance with wage and tax guidelines, processing garnishments, generating payroll documents, and tax reports for clients in the isolved HCM platform. This includes processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for clients as well as after-the-fact payrolls. The role also involves generating quarterly and year-end payroll reports including W2s and updating employee payroll information and adjustments per client requests. The position requires a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, as well as effective communication skills to interact with clients and address their payroll needs. Specialists will work closely with clients to ensure their payroll is processed correctly and in a timely manner, adhering to all relevant payroll laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process client payrolls according to wage and tax guidelines.
  • Process garnishments and generate payroll documents and tax reports.
  • Handle weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for clients, including after-the-fact payrolls.
  • Generate quarterly and year-end payroll reports, including W2s.
  • Update employee payroll information and adjustments based on client requests.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working daily on the computer, including payroll software and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills for client interactions via phone, email, and in person.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Previous experience in a related payroll-processing role is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of payroll law and regulations is highly desired.
  • Experience working in the isolved payroll system is highly desired.
  • Experience with payroll implementations is desired but not required.
