About the position

Rapid Hires, LLC is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. This part-time position involves managing payroll processes for our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll tax liabilities, garnishments, and benefits distribution. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and exceptional mathematical skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax liabilities and regulations.
• Manage garnishments and benefits distribution for employees.
• Conduct research and analysis related to payroll issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding payroll matters.
• Multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in payroll processing (Required).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional mathematical and calculation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of payroll tax liabilities and regulations.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
