About the position

The Payroll Specialist at Intellispring Technologies Inc. is responsible for managing payroll processing and related accounting tasks within a construction environment. This role requires expertise in prevailing wage regulations and experience with specific payroll tracking software. The position involves full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, as well as ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and verify timecards for accuracy.
• Input data into LCP Tracker and manage garnishment payments.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including AIA billing and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage lien releases and preliminary notices.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely payments and compliance with contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, specifically in a construction accounting environment.
• Proven experience with payroll processing and governmental accounting standards.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable procedures.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and balance sheet reconciliation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with American Contractor and Textura software.
• Certification in payroll processing or related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
