Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, deductions, and benefits.
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end close processes related to payroll.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and benefit deductions.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
• Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with auditors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
