Responsibilities

  • Collecting, verifying and processing payroll information.
  • Calculating payable hours, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
  • Dealing with employee inquiries about payroll issues or discrepancies.
  • Preparing reports for senior management, finance department, etc.
  • Staying updated on federal and state payroll and tax regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist.
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
  • Experience with manual and computerized payroll systems, and human resource management systems (HRMS).
  • Excellent mathematical and IT skills.
