Premium Health Care is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining payroll records, administering employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with the HR department to ensure that all payroll-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in reconciling payroll data, which includes benefits costs and tax withholdings. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating employee payroll records, handling inquiries from employees regarding payroll matters, and assisting in the analysis of payroll data for reporting purposes. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in conducting account reconciliations related to payroll transactions and performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of governmental accounting practices, account reconciliation processes, and tax regulations related to payroll. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is essential, as well as knowledge of corporate accounting procedures. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to handle accounts payable duties effectively. Experience in benefits administration is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to collaborate with the HR department in ensuring accurate benefits administration.
