About the position

Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electrical is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate payroll processing, managing employee benefits, and providing basic HR support. The Payroll Administrator will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the overall employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and validate timesheets
  • Enter and validate employees' revenue generation to properly process bonuses and commissions
  • Input payroll for processing
  • Track employee benefits
  • Update internal databases (e.g., record sick or maternity leave)
  • Verify invoices processed for technicians in our POS system
  • Answer employees' queries about payroll and benefits related issues

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-3 years experience
  • Proven work experience as Payroll and HR Administrator
  • Experience with Excel, Outlook, Service Titan, QuickBooks
  • Knowledgeable of labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong ethics and ability to keep information confidential
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid analytical & problem-solving skills
