The role involves utilizing TriNet Zenefits payroll software extensively, as the company is in the process of transitioning to Paylocity for the upcoming year of 2025. The specialist will need to be adept at managing different pay codes for individuals, ensuring accurate payroll processing for diverse roles, such as driving instructors who have varying wages for instruction time versus training time. In addition to payroll processing, the role demands proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, as these tools are frequently referenced and utilized for data management and reporting. The Payroll Specialist will be expected to maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with payroll regulations across the states in which employees are located. • Handle multiple pay codes on timecards for accurate payroll processing.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.

Requirements

• Strong experience in payroll processing and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with TriNet Zenefits payroll software is a plus.
• Ability to process multi-state payroll accurately.
• Intermediate level experience in payroll functions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in TriNet Zenefits is preferred.
• Candidates located in or around Austin are preferred, but remote candidates will be considered.
