About the position

The Payroll Specialist position is a contract role focused on payroll processing for a multi-company, multi-state environment. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll calculations and compliance with relevant regulations, while also managing garnishments and union dues billing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple companies across different states.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
• Manage garnishments and union dues billing as required.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-company, multi-state environment.
• Experience with Ultimate Software (UltiPro) is preferred.
• Experience with Kronos is preferred.
• Experience with garnishments and union dues billing is preferred.
• 1 year of payroll experience is required.
