About The Position
As a Payroll Specialist at Tekrek Solutions Inc, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes for our organization. This position is a full-time contract role based in Plymouth, MI, with a duration of six months. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, which includes handling various types of imputed income such as relocation, stock options, and personal use of company cars. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring proper year-end W2 reporting and compliance with payroll tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP Globalview or SAP payroll systems and possess a basic understanding of payroll tax and garnishment processing. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure that all payroll-related tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role requires flexibility, as overtime may be necessary during peak periods. You will be expected to work the first shift from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and be available for additional hours as needed. In addition to your technical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be critical for success in this role. You will also need to communicate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues that may arise.
