About the position

The Human Resources Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing payroll administration and providing HR support, including handling housing and vehicle payments. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, assists with HRIS data management, and supports various HR functions within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Administers Georgia Payroll Process to ensure accurate and timely processing (bi-weekly).
  • Maintains HR System to ensure employee data is accurate and up to date.
  • Assists with HRIS/SF data entry and uploading new hires and terminations.
  • Manages the Time and Attendance system and attendance program per company policy.
  • Resolves payroll issues quickly and accurately.
  • Assists supervisors with entering, approving, and correcting time for payroll processing.
  • Addresses employee inquiries regarding payroll, attendance, and time off.
  • Prepares and completes quarterly and year-end processing as per government requirements.
  • Assists Finance in identifying discrepancies in the Payroll Account.
  • Generates reports from HR/Payroll/Attendance systems as needed.
  • Administers the 90-day review process for new hires.
  • Generates monthly and quarterly attendance reports for management recognition.
  • Plays a key role in SOX audit and other audits as required.
  • Provides requested information for other departments, such as Finance.
  • Administers ISE (expats) pay process once payment slips are received.
  • Creates new employee security access badges.
  • Provides administrative support for Human Resources as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or HR from an accredited institution preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in an HR role dealing with training, immigration, and recruitment preferred.
  • Strong MS-Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related computer software skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with recruitment and visa support preferred.
