About the position

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Gennessee, Colorado. This role is within the non-profit industry and will involve handling the payroll for a large number of employees. The workplace is fast-paced and requires knowledge of various payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Processing multi-state and international payroll in a timely and accurate manner
• Managing payroll for a significant number of employees
• Utilizing skills in Ceridian, Dayforce, and other related payroll systems
• Handling 401k - RRSP Administration tasks
• Utilizing 'About Time' for appropriate time management
• Performing auditing tasks to ensure accuracy of payroll
• Managing benefit functions and ensuring they are properly applied
• Maintaining accurate records of all payroll activities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using payroll software including Ceridian and Dayforce
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Familiarity with About Time software
• Ability to conduct thorough auditing
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Skilled in using Ceridian Payroll System
• Experience in non-profit industry preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
