About the position

This position is responsible for processing bi-weekly, monthly, and special payment payrolls for approximately 8200 employees. The role ensures that all payroll transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with BCG policy, as well as state and federal regulations. The individual will provide high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers, including governmental agencies, while managing payroll data using the ADP system.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly and monthly multi-state payroll using ADP for approximately 8200 employees.
  • Receive and process payroll change information from local offices and the online Human Resource system.
  • Audit payroll information for completeness and take appropriate action where needed.
  • Accurately compute retroactive pay, partial pay, and overpayments based on input data.
  • Receive and accurately import bi-weekly time sheets.
  • Compile and input change and pay data to ADP.
  • Prepare special payment files for input to ADP using external programs.
  • Transmit payroll data for bi-weekly and special payment payrolls to ADP.
  • Download and save all payroll reports generated by ADP.
  • Sort and distribute payroll checks, advices, and reports.
  • Maintain all data on the ADP payroll system.
  • Assist the payroll analyst in researching payroll issues and reconciliations.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or comparable knowledge in payroll-related field.
  • Minimum 3 years payroll processing experience with automated systems, including report writing tools.
  • ADP experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Canadian Payroll experience is a plus.
