About the position
The Payroll Specialist at IDEA Auto Group is responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely, maintaining HR databases, and assisting with employee inquiries. This role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and a supportive work environment, contributing to the company's commitment to employee satisfaction and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the processing of payroll timely and accurately.
- Helps to maintain accuracy of database.
- Processes changes in a timely manner.
- Assists with maintaining digital HR files.
- Answers employee inquiries via email or phone, when appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year recent experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- High School or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
- Emotionally intelligent with a genuine desire to serve internal customers.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Decision making & organizational skills.
- Consistency and attention to detail, even when under pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work with deadlines and time constraints.
- Responsive and proactive with a highly developed sense of responsibility and accountability.
