Responsibilities

• Ensuring accurate timekeeping for both hourly and salaried employees
• Effectively using Kronos for payroll processing
• Handling biweekly and weekly payroll processing tasks
• Properly managing wage garnishments
• Overseeing and managing payroll taxes
• Maintaining accurate payroll records for all employees.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role in the finance/accounting sector
• Proficiency in payroll software, with a specific focus on data entry and system management
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, including taxation, benefits, and deductions
• Demonstrable knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to payroll
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail to handle numerical data accurately
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and report generation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with other departments and resolve employee queries
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

Nice-to-haves
