About the position
The Payroll Specialist at BrightView is responsible for processing payroll in accordance with company policies, ensuring accuracy in timecard entries, and managing state and local tax compliance. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of payroll operations and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Processing payroll in accordance with company policies.
- Reviewing and screening branch timecard entry for accuracy.
- Reviewing accuracy of state and local taxes.
- Entering data into payroll system accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant payroll experience.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local payroll laws and guidelines.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organization skills.
