Gossett Motor Cars, one of the largest privately owned Automotive Dealer Groups in West Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with accounting or payroll experience who are looking to grow their careers in a supportive and team-oriented environment. The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that payroll processes run smoothly for over 500 employees. In this role, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for communicating with employees in a professional and friendly manner, providing them with basic information regarding payroll inquiries. The successful candidate will assist in processing payroll, handle various clerical duties as needed, and address employee issues with integrity and poise, referring them to the appropriate manager when necessary. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., allowing for a consistent work-life balance. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Accounting or payroll experience is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
• Ability to work effectively with employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
