About The Position
Froehling & Robertson, Inc. (F&R) is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Richmond, VA. This full-time position is crucial for the bi-weekly internal processing of payroll and related reporting for approximately 400 employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance, and experience with third-party payroll software such as UKG, Ultimate, or Kronos is a plus. The role requires handling garnishments and court-ordered child support deductions, maintaining personnel records, and preparing certified payroll reports. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for completing employment and income verifications, unemployment paperwork, and preparing reports for relevant departments regarding payroll. The position also involves scanning and depositing daily cash receipts, along with other projects and responsibilities as needed.
