The Multistate Payroll Specialist is a pivotal role within AIM Services, Inc., requiring a comprehensive understanding of payroll processing, reporting, and audits. In this position, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for preparing and processing multistate payroll for both internal employees and vendors. This includes providing customer support for all payroll-related inquiries and ensuring accurate payroll processing through effective liaison between corporate and vendors. The role also involves reviewing and auditing payroll transactions weekly, processing ACH files, and managing Elysian deductions as assigned. Additionally, the specialist will monitor the payroll inbox, assist with annual reporting and audits, and update client master lists to ensure compliance and accuracy. The Payroll Specialist will also be tasked with calculating and updating PTO requests, bonuses, commissions, and retro pays, as well as running standard reports for audits and information purposes. Reporting and tracking payroll discrepancies, educating team members and clients about changes in processes and regulations, and assisting in the implementation of new systems and procedures are also key responsibilities. The role may require performing other duties as assigned, making adaptability and a willingness to take on varied tasks important traits for candidates.
